Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) is actively seeking motivated and talented Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineers (Associate, Level 2) or (Experienced, Level 3) or (Senior, Level 4) to join our dynamic Engineering Teams in Hazelwood, MO.

Position Responsibilities:
- Performs basic structural analysis using well-defined analysis tools to develop the structural environment, characteristics, and performance
- Supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications
- Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied
- Supports in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements
- Works under general supervision

There are opportunities for hybrid work, depending on program availability. Some positions will require to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree in Aerospace, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering
- The ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
- 2+ years’ experience performing stress analysis using both hand calculations and finite element tools
- Currently reside in or willing to relocate to St. Louis, Missouri
Additionally, the following will be beneficial capabilities for the position:
- An active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months
- Experience working with aircraft stress analysis/structural analysis
- Boeing analysis tools (CAESAR, Lifeworks, Mechanica, Common Structures Workstation) experience
