Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join the ALDI team. As a key member of our store, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness in the store.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and other store-related issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and uphold cash policies.
- Adhere to company policies, ensuring document security and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
- Perform general cleaning tasks per company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and follow instructions accurately.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
