Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Lead Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a pivotal member of our store, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the store is well-organized, and supervising store personnel to guarantee a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Provide product feedback to management and suggest new items for inventory.
- Supervise store personnel to ensure compliance with customer satisfaction guidelines and store cleanliness standards.
- Ensure a safe environment for employees, customers, and vendors.
- Merchandise products effectively and maintain store signage.
- Assist with inventory management and product ordering.
- Lead, train, and support the development of store personnel.
- Perform within ALDI ACTS Competencies including planning, positive attitude & resilience, driving for success, focusing on the customer, and leading and aligning.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior work experience in a retail environment is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
Job Qualifications
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Excellent customer service and cash register operation skills.
- Ability to operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Basic administrative and computer skills.
- Physical ability to move and lift store merchandise.
