Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to ensure an outstanding customer experience. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service and uphold our company standards.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills in daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Assist customers with their shopping experience and provide excellent service.
- Work closely with team members and communicate effectively with management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Follow cash policies to minimize losses and comply with company procedures.
- Adhere to company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement of 18.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Skilled in operating cash registers and store equipment properly.
- Ability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
