Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your focus will be on enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills as outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Share feedback with management on products, inventory, and any issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses and follow company procedures.
- Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older to work at ALDI.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
- Interpret and apply company policies and procedures accurately.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Work independently and within a team.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multi-task efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience preferred.
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
