Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. Your interaction with customers and collaboration with the ALDI team will ensure a positive shopping experience for all.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills in everyday tasks.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies while upholding document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient and accurate cash register operation.
- Safely operate equipment like hand jacks, scrubbers, and balers.
- Maintain cleanliness standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work independently and in a team environment.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and follow instructions efficiently.
- Meet local requirements for handling alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
