Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with the Aldi team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Assist customers with their shopping needs and provide top-notch service.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Follow company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient cash register operation.
- Safe operation of equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- General cleaning skills to maintain company standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Compliance with all state and local requirements regarding alcohol sales.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
