Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will create an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Follow cash handling policies and adhere to company procedures
- Uphold security and confidentiality standards
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safe use of equipment and adherence to cleaning standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Capable of working independently and in a team
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail experience is a plus
- Combination of education and experience equivalent is acceptable
