Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Deliver excellent customer service by assisting shoppers and collaborating effectively with team members and store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to enhance store performance.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy in monitoring inventory levels.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures while maintaining security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and friendly customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of performing general cleaning duties and following company policies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, demonstrating organization and attention to detail.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Blend of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
