Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the store, including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean shopping environment. Your dedication to providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the team will enhance the overall customer shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Participate in store inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
• Comply with company policies and procedures, ensuring security and confidentiality
• Perform physical tasks such as stocking merchandise, lifting up to 45 pounds, and general cleaning

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register accurately
• Competency in using store equipment and performing general cleaning tasks
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
