Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member, you will be responsible for various in-store activities such as stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to ensure an exceptional customer shopping experience. You will collaborate with the Aldi team to deliver outstanding customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the required Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Participate in inventory counts and report any discrepancies.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies while ensuring security and confidentiality.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain store standards.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
- Capability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Prior retail experience is preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
