Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases and maintain cleanliness of the store.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficiency in operating cash registers and store equipment.
• Capable of following company policies and procedures.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is advantageous.
