Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Store Operations Assistant to join Aldi's team. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's M.A.P. standards in daily activities
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies
- Follow company policies and procedures diligently
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide efficient and courteous customer service
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Capable of performing general cleaning tasks
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- High school diploma preferred
- Previous retail experience is a plus
