Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. Your role will be crucial in enhancing the overall customer shopping experience by providing exceptional service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and maintain professionalism in all interactions.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to the management team.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy in monitoring stock levels.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses and follow company procedures.
• Perform general cleaning tasks according to company standards.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years is required for employment at ALDI.
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and other store equipment.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and follow company policies.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
