Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated 1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aldi. As an essential member of the warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in receiving, storing, and shipping merchandise efficiently to our stores. You'll work in a dynamic environment, performing tasks such as selecting and receiving incoming stock, relocating merchandise, and maintaining warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements. You will contribute to achieving budgeted goals and improving processes, all while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and strategically load merchandise in preparation for shipment and unload incoming shipments from trucks/back-hauls.
• Perform general cleaning duties to achieve warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
• Participate in taking warehouse inventory counts according to guidelines.
• Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership through ongoing communication and exchange of information.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and place product weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate powered industrial equipment safely and properly.
