1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and efficient 1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aldi. You will play a key role in efficiently fulfilling orders received from stores by selecting and receiving incoming stock, organizing merchandise strategically, and participating in warehouse inventory counts. Your input and collaboration with the warehouse management will help improve processes and achieve budgeted goals, ensuring a smooth operation.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders from stores.
• Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically in preparation for shipment and unload incoming shipment.
• Participate in-taking warehouse inventory counts according to guidelines.
• Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership through ongoing communication and exchange of information.
• Provide input to the warehouse management regarding changes to improve processes.
• Inspect product, consult with the warehouse management regarding product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.

• You must be 18 years of age or older to be employed for this role at ALDI.
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place product weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Move merchandise from warehouse stock and prepare product for store deliveries.
• Sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures, hot and cold, and operate powered industrial equipment safely.
