Job Description
We are looking for a 1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for efficiently fulfilling stock orders, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements. Your role will involve participating in warehouse inventory counts, communicating effectively with peers and warehouse leadership, and providing input to improve processes. In addition, you will be expected to inspect product quality, adhere to company policies and procedures, and perform all assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise in accordance with product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to achieve warehouse appearance standards.
- Participate in-taking warehouse inventory counts.
- Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
- Provide input to warehouse management to improve processes.
- Inspect product, consult with warehouse management regarding product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
- Perform all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company policy and procedures.
- Operate equipment according to safety guidelines.
- Notify management regarding product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older to be employed for this role at Aldi.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
