1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

ALDI is seeking a 1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position offers flexible schedule options and competitive starting wages, offering 30-35 hours per week and a starting wage of up to $24.00 per hour. The shifts available provide varying schedules to accommodate different needs, and the successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling merchandise, maintaining warehouse appearance standards, communicating effectively, and contributing to continuous improvement. The physical demands of the role should be considered, with the ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment and lift items weighing up to 45 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders from stores.
• Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
• Participate in taking warehouse inventory counts according to guidelines and actively provide feedback for process improvement.
• Inspect products, consult with warehouse management regarding product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
• Operate powered industrial equipment according to safety guidelines in the performance of essential job functions.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older to be employed for this role at ALDI.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
