Job Description

Our warehouse operations ensure that products are properly received, selected, and delivered to our stores to serve our ever-growing number of customers. Our hardworking and dedicated teams operate in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas. Thorough training and a comprehensive safety program provide the necessary skills for our associates to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and strategically load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments from trucks.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and provide input to improve processes.
• Inspect product, consult with warehouse management regarding product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
• Independently make decisions within the delegated area of responsibility and assist warehouse management in achieving budgeted goals.
• Perform all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company policy and procedures.
• Follow ergonomic program and operate equipment according to safety guidelines.
• Notify management regarding product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Job-specific Competencies

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures, excellent verbal and written communication skills, perform basic arithmetic equations, pay attention to detail, and work both independently and within a team environment.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

Frequently lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds, move merchandise throughout the warehouse, sit, stand, bend; work in varying temperatures, and operate powered industrial equipment.
