We are seeking a skilled 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for selecting, receiving, relocating, sorting, and organizing merchandise within the warehouse, ensuring efficient fulfillment of orders received from stores. You will also actively participate in maintaining warehouse appearance standards, conducting inventory counts, and consistently communicating with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to improve processes. Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
• Participate in taking warehouse inventory counts and provide input to improve processes.

Job Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently required to lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Frequently move merchandise and continuously work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to operate powered industrial equipment safely and properly.
