1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our dynamic team at Aldi. This full-time position offers various schedule options and a starting wage of up to $24.00 per hour (based on shift and schedule differential pay).

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
• Participate in taking warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and place product weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Move merchandise from warehouse stock and prepare product for store deliveries.
• Sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures, hot and cold, and operate powered industrial equipment safely and properly.
