Shift: 2nd Shift - 4:00 PM start time

Job Description

The 2nd Shift Warehouse Stocker at Aldi is responsible for selecting and receiving incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders from stores, relocating merchandise, sorting and organizing merchandise for shipment, warehouse cleaning and inventory counts. The role also involves cooperating and interacting with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership, providing input to improve processes, and inspecting product quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock effectively and efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Participate in taking inventory counts.
• Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve processes.
• Inspect product quality and safety.
• Perform tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company policy and procedures.
• Operate equipment according to safety guidelines.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

Frequently lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse. Work in varying temperatures, hot and cold, and operate powered industrial equipment.
