Job Description

We are seeking a 3rd Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. As part of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in efficiently fulfilling store orders, organizing merchandise, and ensuring a clean and safe warehouse environment. Responsibilities

  • Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
  • Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse according to product handling guidelines.
  • Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
  • Perform general cleaning duties to achieve warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
  • Participate in taking warehouse inventory counts according to guidelines.
  • Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership through ongoing communication and exchange of information.
  • Provide input to the warehouse management regarding changes to improve processes.
  • Inspect products, consult with warehouse management regarding product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
  • Assist warehouse management in achieving budgeted goals.
  • Perform all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company policy and procedures.
  • Follow the ergonomic program according to established procedures.
  • Operate equipment according to safety guidelines in the performance of essential job functions.
  • Notify management regarding product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

  • You must be 18 years of age or older to be employed for this role at ALDI.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic equations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Pay attention to detail and follow instructions closely.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
  • Frequently move merchandise from warehouse stock and prepare products for store deliveries.
  • Frequently sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
  • Continuously work in varying temperatures, hot and cold (including outdoor temperatures and refrigerator/freezer environments).
  • Ability to safely and properly operate powered industrial equipment.
