3rd Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 3rd Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. As a vital member of the warehouse staff, you will play a key role in efficiently fulfilling orders received from stores. Your responsibilities will include selecting, receiving, relocating, sorting, and loading merchandise, as well as maintaining warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for participating in warehouse inventory counts and providing input to warehouse management to improve processes. As a 3rd Shift Warehouse Stocker, you will have a significant impact on fulfilling our customers' needs.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to effectively fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and strategically load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements through general cleaning duties.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts following guidelines.
• Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to warehouse management to improve processes.
• Inspect products, consult with warehouse management regarding product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
• Assist warehouse management in achieving budgeted goals.
• Follow ergonomic program and operate equipment according to safety guidelines.
• Notify management regarding product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older to be employed for this role at Aldi.
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and resilience, adapts positively to pressure, setbacks, challenges, and change.
• Gives attention to detail and follows instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

Frequently required to lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights. Frequently move merchandise from warehouse stock and prepare products for store deliveries. Ability to operate powered industrial equipment. Continuously work in varying temperatures, hot and cold, including outdoor temperatures and refrigerator/freezer environments.
