Job Description

In this role, you will play a crucial part in the interiors certification team, ensuring the safety and quality of aircraft interiors. You will be involved in the entire product lifecycle, engaging with customers, project engineering, and regulatory bodies to achieve the best outcomes in cabin safety certification.
Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, and document interior payload system certification requirements
- Perform or oversee approval of analyses and test/inspection results
- Develop new design/analysis processes and tools for system effectiveness
- Work with design engineers to ensure compliance with FAA regulations
- Potentially represent the FAA as a designee for interior crashworthiness
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry
- 5+ years of experience in engineering, design criteria, and engineering release processes
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and validation processes
