Boeing Commercial Airplanes has an exciting opportunity for a Decorative Interior Repair Person working on the 737 North Line in Everett, WA. As a Decorative Interior Repair Person, you will be an integral part of the inaugural 737 North Line program, reworking and repairing interior aircraft parts made from various materials including fiberglass, plastic, and composites.
Additional Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:
- Obtain daily work assignment and perform walk-through inspections of aircraft interiors.
- Repair interior defects, disassemble parts and clean surfaces for repair and painting.
- Apply various materials and finishes as per drawings and specifications.
- Handle hazardous materials safely and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Address color perception requirements and perform touch-up and sealing tasks.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite with requirements for physical activities and safety compliance. Basic qualifications include 1+ years of experience following instructions and accurately differentiating colors. Preferred qualifications include experience in manufacturing or painting with non-metallic materials.
The successful candidate must be a 'US Person' as defined by the US regulations. The role offers a competitive pay range of $23.50 - $41.62 per hour.
