Boeing Commercial Airplanes has an exciting opportunity for a Decorative Interior Repair Person working on the 737 North Line in Everett, WA.
As a Decorative Interior Repair Person, you will be an integral part of the inaugural 737 North Line program.
Employees in this position rework and repair interior aircraft parts and assemblies made from various types of material including fiberglass, plastic, and composites, at various stages of the aircraft assembly process, in shop and factory locations.
Additional Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:
- Obtain daily work assignment from lead/supervisor, or call sheet.
- Perform walk through inspection of aircraft interior looking for defects to document and repair.
- Locate work area using specific drawings.
- Disassemble parts, remove defective interior parts, clean surfaces, apply necessary compounds and finishes per drawing.
- Fit and assemble detail components, paint parts or touch up repair areas, rework materials as required.
- Seal edges of repair area using proper sealant mixed with paint/ink.
- Wear proper PPE including a respirator.
- Color perception examination required.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite and requires a 'US Person' as defined by regulation.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 1+ years of experience following oral and written instructions.
- Accurately differentiate between Red/Orange/Yellow/Green/Blue colors.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Enrollment in a Boeing partnered manufacturing related academic program.
- Experience working with vinyl wallpaper, composites, non-metallic materials.
- Experience with aerospace or automotive spray painting.
High School Diploma and/or GED required.

The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $41.62 per hour.
