Join our team in Berkeley, MO or St. Louis, MO as an Advanced Kill Chain Senior Software Engineer. This role involves the development of real-time embedded software, analyzing and debugging software issues, and working in an Agile, collaborative environment supporting Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS). You will lead activities to develop, document, and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems. Additionally, you will provide technical leadership for software projects and lead less experienced software engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead activities to develop, document, and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems
  • Lead development and maintenance of code and integration of software components into a fully functional software system
  • Provide technical leadership for software projects and lead less experienced software engineers
  • Plan, execute, and document software research and development projects
  • Lead development, selection, tailoring, and deployment of processes, tools, and metrics
  • Develop software verification plans, test procedures, and test environments, executing test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met
  • Work under minimal direction

Requirements

  • Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or other technical degree
  • 5+ years' experience with C, C++, Ada, Java, and/or Python
  • 3+ years' experience leading a project or technical team
