Join our team as an Advanced Kill Chain Senior Software Engineer at Boeing in Berkeley, MO or St. Louis, MO. This role involves working within the Advanced Kill Chain software team to develop real-time embedded software for air dominance platforms. You will lead software development projects, maintain architectures, and provide technical leadership in an Agile environment. The selected candidate will play a key role in creating software for some of the most advanced aerospace systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, documentation, and maintenance of software architectures, requirements, and designs.
• Develop and integrate software components into functional systems.
• Provide technical leadership, plan, and execute software research and development projects.
• Lead the development, selection, and deployment of processes, tools, and metrics.
• Create software verification plans, test procedures, and environments.
• Work collaboratively, under minimal direction, and lead less experienced software engineers.

This position requires onsite work at one of the listed locations and the ability to obtain a Secret US Security Clearance. Basic qualifications include a degree in Engineering or a related field, 5+ years experience with programming languages, and 3+ years leading teams. Preferred qualifications include mission systems software development experience, effective team communication, and familiarity with collaboration tools.
