Job Description

We are looking for an Application Modernization Brand Sales Specialist to join IBM, a leader in cloud solutions and technology innovation. As the Sales Specialist, you will play a vital role in taking Cloud Pak for Integration, Cloud Pak for Applications, and DevSecOps solutions to market, helping clients navigate the modernization trends and challenges they face in their technical landscapes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with client-facing teams to identify and create demand, qualify opportunities, and execute successful sales engagements.
  • Focus on net new logo acquisition and upsell opportunities, developing a territory to expand IBM's cloud software & services offerings.
  • Utilize your expertise in building business cases, generating pipelines, and delivering high-value customer solutions.
  • Demonstrate a value-based sales approach, communicating complex ROI models to C-level customers.
  • Drive direct sales from initial contact to closing, emphasizing a business owner's mindset and pipeline generation mastery.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in direct customer selling and cloud software/SaaS solutions.
  • Strong understanding of IT Operations, DevOps, Enterprise Integration, and related verticals.
  • Passion for cloud technologies and problem-solving, with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners to achieve sales objectives.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of Hybrid cloud solutions and experience with relevant technologies.
  • Experience in leading complex deals and value-based selling.
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
