Job Description
The Area Director of Engineering at Residence Inn Foxborough will be a key member of the engineering team, focusing on both corporate-wide and local hotel engineering issues. Based at Residence Inn Foxborough, this role will provide support to RI Franklin, RI Worcester, RI W. Springfield, and Homewood Suites Warwick, ensuring optimal value for guests, associates, and hotel assets.
Responsibilities
- Establish relationships with properties in the area and the Corporate office team.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and policies.
- Promote energy conservation and preventative maintenance activities.
- Ensure operational safety and advancement of engineering discipline.
- Participate in training and mentoring programs.
- Conduct property audits, engineering analysis, and assist in budgeting and planning.
- Stay updated on industry trends and comply with Highgate Hotel Standards.
- Maximize productivity, identify problem areas, and implement solutions.
- Convey effective communication and maintain a courteous demeanor with all parties.
- Attend required meetings, trainings, and support M.O.D. coverage as needed.
Qualifications
- Flexible schedule and willingness to work long hours.
- Able to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- May require travel for company-related business.
