Responsibilities
- Supporting software development on agile teams for platform integration
- Developing high fidelity simulation and environment software
- Resolving problems through analytical problem-solving and engineering skills
- Delivering improved weapon system capabilities to customers
- Continuous improvement of processes and tools
- Conducting analysis and documentation of engineering practices
- Collaborating with various engineering disciplines
- Providing technical leadership to junior engineers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related technical field
- 4+ years of professional experience in software development with languages such as Ada, C, C++, Java, and Python
- Experience leading projects or technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Highest level U.S. security clearance or ability to obtain
- Experience in embedded real-time software and simulation development
- Knowledge of open architecture constructs and agile software development
- Proficiency in configuration management tools and software architecture
