Job Description

Sevita, a leading provider of home and community-based specialized health care, is seeking compassionate individuals to join their team as Caregivers. As part of the Mentor Community Services division, you will have the opportunity to work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the IRMO & Garners Ferry Area of Town.

As a Caregiver at Sevita, you will play a crucial role in helping people grow, learn, and live well. You will develop meaningful relationships, support participants with their developmental goals, and assist with personal hygiene and behavioral challenges. Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily activities.
• Support participants with personal hygiene and behavioral challenges.
• Help participants achieve their developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Engage participants in community activities and facilitate their social integration.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Excellent communication, adaptability, and time-management skills.
• Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
