Job Description

Join REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, as a Direct Support Professional Caregiver. This role involves providing community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As part of a mission-driven team, you will help people grow, learn, and live well, creating meaningful relationships and supporting individuals with their daily activities and personal goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene and behavioral challenges.
• Support participants in community engagement and favorite activities.
• Help individuals achieve developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Must be patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible.
• Valid Driver's license, access to a registered vehicle, and over 1 year of driving experience.
