CDL Driver - Home Daily at Albertsons Companies, Inc.
The CDL Driver is responsible for performing pre and post trip inspections of their vehicle, ensuring safe and effective loading/unloading procedures, and operating equipment including tractor/trailer/yard truck/straight truck. Additionally, the Delivery Driver reviews paperwork accuracy, checks order completeness, delivers and unloads products, and communicates professionally with customers and vendors while maintaining DOT compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive route paperwork, truck/trailer assignment, and instructions
- Conduct pre and post trip inspections as per DOT regulations
- Verify load and securement, couple tractor/trailer, and follow route plan
- Complete store clean outs, loading, and communicate route issues
- Ensure cargo security, paperwork accuracy, and hours of service reporting
- Report to work on time and in a well-rested condition
