Job Description

Wright Media is seeking a skilled and dependable Class A Tanker Driver to join our team. As a vital member of our transport operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods, while maintaining the highest standard of professionalism and adhering to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport various materials via tanker truck to designated locations.
• Comply with all DOT regulations and company standards for the safe and legal transportation of hazardous materials.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of goods transported, including manifests and reports.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and its equipment.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.

Requirements

• Valid CDL with tanker endorsement and hazmat endorsement (where required).
• Minimum of six months verifiable experience driving a minimum of five-axle diesel-powered tractor-trailer combination units.
• Stable work history and a minimum age of 21.
• Clean driving record, with no DWI or DUI convictions in the previous seven years and limited traffic citations or accidents.
• Successful completion of the DOT physical exam, pulmonary function test, and controlled substance test.
• Maintain a professional appearance and performance at all times.
