Responsibilities
- Receive route paperwork and instructions for the route
- Conduct pre-trip, inter-trip, and post-trip inspections in compliance with regulations
- Verify load securement, follow route plan, and meet delivery requirements
- Complete store clean-outs and return items as needed
- Secure cargo, complete all paperwork, and report hours of service accurately
- Stay well-rested and prepared for assigned routes
- Document and report any equipment defects or concerns
