Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join the Corewell Health team on a full-time basis. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT exams with accuracy and efficiency while prioritizing patient care and safety. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional imaging services and upholding the highest standards of patient and family-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify patient identification and physician orders.
  • Inform and educate patients and their families about procedures.
  • Acquire and document accurate patient histories.
  • Perform CT scans and related procedures using age-appropriate techniques.
  • Administer contrast media through IVs as necessary.
  • Operate CT imaging equipment proficiently and ensure quality control.
  • Monitor patient safety during procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with medical staff and management.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree from a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
  • 1-3 years of experience beyond staff radiographer level.
  • Certifications: CRT-Radiologic Technologist, CRT-Computerized Tomography (CT), CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS).

Physical Demands

  • Various physical demands including lifting, carrying, and visual acuity.

Location: Troy Hospital, 44201 Dequindre Road, Troy.

Shift: Evening

Weekly Hours: 40

Work Hours: 3pm-1130pm

Days: Monday-Friday, Every third weekend
