Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers by merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
  • Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies
  • Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring data security
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years old or above
  • Prompt and courteous customer service skills
  • Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience is a plus
