Job Description
Avera Dialysis Milbank is seeking a dedicated Dialysis Technician to join our award-winning healthcare organization. As a Dialysis Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing maintenance dialysis for patients with end-stage renal disease under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities
- Perform tasks contributing to maintenance dialysis procedures.
- Identify intradialytic comorbidities and monitor patient and equipment alarms during treatments.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior dialysis or healthcare experience is necessary.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Completion of an approved dialysis tech program (provided by Avera if needed).
- Must obtain certification as a Dialysis Technician within 18 months of employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Work Schedule
- Part-time position with varied shifts.
Pay
Hourly range: $18.00 - $24.50 per hour (dependent on experience).
