Job Description
Sevita, a leading provider of home and community-based specialized health care, is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Corpus Christi, TX. As a DSP, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing essential care and support.
Responsibilities
- Transportation and support for community outings/field trips, medical appointments, and shopping.
- Assistance with daily living skills, including meal preparation and medication administration.
- Guidance on developmental goals like community participation, budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
- Support with personal hygiene, grooming, bathing, and behavioral redirection.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum age of 18 with six months of human services experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license, registered vehicle with insurance, and clear background checks.
- Compassionate and responsible attitude with a focus on quality care.
