Job Description
The Engineer 1 position at Sheraton San Jose offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a leading real estate investment and hospitality management company. As an Engineer, Level 1, you will be responsible for maintaining the property to ensure the best possible condition with minimal inconvenience to customers and employees.
Responsibilities
- Make repairs to the hotel's air conditioning system, including changing filters, cleaning coils, and replacing motors.
- Perform preventive maintenance on various equipment such as boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, and electrical components.
- Test and record readings of equipment like the cooling tower, and maintain necessary readings.
- Replace and program televisions, light switches, receptacles, light bulbs, and fixtures as needed.
- Perform furniture repairs, pump replacements, plumbing repairs, and troubleshooting of kitchen equipment.
- Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records to ensure compliance with codes.
- Test, clean, and repair swimming pools and spas, paint designated areas, and repair sheet rock and wall coverings.
- Repair and program hotel electronic lock systems for security.
