Job Description
Hampton Inn Fairview Heights, managed by Highgate Hotels, is looking for a dedicated Engineer to join our team. As a part-time Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks for guest rooms, including light bulb changes and minor repairs.
- Conduct maintenance on various equipment such as ice machines, kitchen appliances, HVAC systems, etc.
- Address alarms promptly, assess emergency situations, and report findings to the Front Desk.
- Execute other assigned tasks as directed by the supervisor or manager.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Licensure in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) is a plus.
- Valid driver's license for the applicable state is necessary.
- Acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record) specific to the property is required.
