Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Engineer Maintenance to join our team at La Quinta Atlanta - Perimeter/Medical Center. As part of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and facilities, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance for guest rooms, including vinyl repair, touch-up paint, minor furniture repair, tub caulking, and tile repairs.
- Conduct preventive maintenance for ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, HVAC systems, and other facilities.
- Handle plumbing repairs, laundry equipment maintenance, and monitor energy conservation efforts.
- Respond promptly to alarms, determining emergency status, and reporting findings to the Front Desk.
- Complete other assigned tasks as directed by supervisors or managers.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Licensure in a trade such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or carpentry is desirable.
- Valid driver's license for the respective state is a must.
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Driving Record specific to the property is required.
