Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Executive Aide to join the School of Medicine Dean's Office at Case Western Reserve University. As the executive aide, you will play a crucial role in managing the daily operations of the office, ensuring smooth functioning, and facilitating effective leadership for the school.

Responsibilities

  • Manage calendars and travel arrangements for the dean and chief of staff.
  • Act as a liaison between the executive staff and academic/administrative units.
  • Provide executive assistance, relieving administrative burdens from the dean.
  • Participate in strategic planning and program implementation.
  • Facilitate communication between the Dean's Office and students/faculty.
  • Assist with candidate visits, HR coordination, and financial planning.
  • Conduct institutional research and prepare reports for decision-making.
  • Support with administrative tasks and serve as a backup when needed.

Qualifications

Experience: 10+ years in progressively responsible administrative roles, university experience preferred. Education: Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
