Job Description

We are currently looking for a dedicated Executive Aide to join Case Western Reserve University on a full-time basis. As the Executive Aide for the School of Medicine Dean's Office, you will play a crucial role in managing the daily operations of the office to ensure efficiency and smooth functioning, allowing the dean and chief of staff to focus on providing leadership for the school.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the dean and chief of staff's calendars and travel arrangements.
  • Act as a liaison between the academic and administrative units of the school.
  • Provide executive assistance to the dean by handling administrative functions.
  • Participate in strategic planning and program implementation.
  • Facilitate communication between the Dean's Office and School of Medicine students.
  • Assist with candidate visits, events, HR liaison tasks, and financial planning.
  • Conduct institutional research and prepare reports to support decision-making.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive administrative experience.
  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications.
  • Experience in accounting, budgeting, and willingness to learn new skills.

Working Conditions

This role requires flexibility in working hours, as some early mornings, evenings, and weekends may be necessary. The position does not offer a hybrid work schedule.
