Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, customers receive exceptional service, and the overall shopping experience is enhanced. This position involves merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness within the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and provide exceptional customer service.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Comply with company policies, maintain document security, and uphold confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
- Work independently and within a team, following instructions and company procedures.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
- Prior retail experience preferred.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
