Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining the store's appearance, and ensuring smooth operations. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and collaborating with team members.
Responsibilities
- Consistently demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring security and confidentiality
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy
- Operate cash registers efficiently and follow cash policies
- Perform general cleaning duties to uphold company standards
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Prompt and courteous customer service skills
- Efficient operation of equipment like cash registers and floor scrubbers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking capability
- High School Diploma or equivalent, prior retail experience is a plus
