Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to ensure a great shopping experience for our customers. You will work collaboratively with the Aldi team to deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain displays
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and store issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and company procedures
- Follow security and confidentiality protocols
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficient in operating cash registers and store equipment
- Capable of performing cleaning duties to company standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
