Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join Aldi's team. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for customers. You will work collaboratively with the Aldi team to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and provide feedback to management regarding products and store operations.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and uphold company procedures.

Physical Demands

• Stock merchandise and lift items up to 45 pounds.
• Perform various physical tasks like bending, reaching, lifting, and walking throughout the store.
• Operate equipment such as an electric/manual hand jack and floor scrubber.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization in accordance with company standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register.
• Proficiency in equipment operation and general cleaning tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcoholic beverage handling (where applicable).

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
